Suggested November 2023 Momax Wireless Power Banks For Your Iphone: Quick And Stylish
The two most important aspects of a product are utility and design. And the Momax chúng tôi Power 8 and Q.Power Touch are products that shine in both these areas. You get excellent design without missing out on any of the basic features. To top it off, these are loaded with a ton of features. If you are looking for a wireless power bank for your iPhone, read along to know which one is the right choice.

DesignTransparent or translucent designs exposing the internals of a device are not a new phenomenon. Rather they were a thing of the past, and we’ve also seen Apple launching translucent products dating way back to the 90s or even before that. However, exhibiting the PCB and other components are slowly gaining traction, and the Momax chúng tôi Power 8 is an example of this design.
Honestly, I’m in love with its design and can’t deny that it’s nothing less than eye candy (without negative connotations of the word, of course). But if you tend to carry the power bank in your pocket with keys or just travel a lot with it, the front panel might be filled with scratches. However, this is an assumption as I haven’t used the product for long enough to discover scratches myself.
It features a transparent panel that showcases the internals and feels like polycarbonate or fiber to the touch; however, it is a fingerprint magnet. While we’re on magnets, the power bank design also highlights 16 magnets in a circle. The copper charging coil is within the circle of the magnets, and there are 2 magnets just below it, forming the tail.
Apart from this, the PCB (printed circuit board) is black and looks beautiful. It highlights all the transistors, resistors, etc., which have been soldered neatly. Also, there’s a Momax branding at the bottom left. I’ve shown it to several people, and all of them loved the design, so it’s safe to say it’s not a polarizing design.
The sides have a space grey colorway with a polished matte finish that has a grainy reflection to light. However, it has several product details printed on the sides, spoiling the clean and minimal look. Also, my unit has minor scuffs, and I haven’t even used it that long. At the bottom is the power button with LED indicators, and a USB-C port doubles as power input and output to the right.
At the back is the kickstand made out of imitation leather. While it has a good in-hand feel, I’m skeptical about its durability. The back, even with the kickstand open, has the same leather finish, which keeps the in-hand feel consistent and doesn’t spoil the design.
UtilityThe Momax chúng tôi Power 8 has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh. I will discuss my experience with the product and its charging speeds here. Please refer to the table above if you want to know about the power input or output through a wired or wireless connection.
To begin with, I tested the product with an iPhone 13 Pro Max with a MagSafe case. While it does charge with other third-party cases, the magnetic connection isn’t strong and doesn’t give me the confidence to use it. With that said, here are the charging test results:
I started charging the iPhone 13 Pro Max at 5%. It took almost an hour to charge 30% and almost 2 hours to charge 65%. Looking at these numbers, we can conclude that the Momax chúng tôi Power 8 will take 2 mins on average to charge 1% of your iPhone’s battery.
Also, even though the company claims the battery capacity to be 5,000mAh, it mostly isn’t the true battery capacity of the power bank. In the real world, you can expect the power bank to charge a regular iPhone from 0 to 75-85 percent on a full charge. And it can charge a Plus/Pro Max iPhone from 0 to 60-70 percent on a full charge.
Should you buy it?Pros
Transparent design with a beautiful PCB
Strong magnetic snap (without a case or with a MagSafe case)
Appealing space grey finish on the side
PD charging speeds
Kickstand
Cons
Build quality could be better
Priced slightly on the higher side
Doesn’t snap and fit well with any third-party case. Needs to be used naked or with a MagSafe case
The Momax chúng tôi Power 8 is priced at $39.99. It is priced correctly for what for the utility it offers. However, the USP is not its battery capacity or charging speed or the fact that it also comes with a kickstand, rather, it’s the product’s design that speaks volumes.

Q.Power MFi Touch wireless charging 10,000mAh power bank
Tired of cables and just want a simple power bank to wirelessly charge your iPhone? The Q.Power Touch checks the box. It also has a unique fabric-like design called “Woven Touch.” The icing on the cake is the capacity, which is 10,000mAh. So, it can charge even your Plus or Pro Max iPhones from 0 to 100 percent without breaking a sweat.
Capacity10,000mAh USB-C Power Input 5V=3A, 9V=2.22A Lightning Power Input5V=2.4A USB-C Wired Power Output5V=3A, 9V=2.22A, 12V=1.5A (PD 3.0) USB-A Wired Power Output4.5V=5A, 5V=4.5A, 9V=2A, 12V=1.5A Wireless Power Output 5V=1A, 9V=1A Dimensions140x70x19mm Weight231g
DesignUnlike most other power banks, the Q.Power Touch does not feel like a brick of polycarbonate. I’m not saying it isn’t. It is, but it does not feel like one. And the credit for this goes to the “Woven Touch” design, which replicates fabric. It comes in three color options, and I have the grey variant, which looks very minimal.
What spoils minimalism is printing several details about the device onto it. At this point, I feel it is done to comply with some legal norms, or it’s just a bad design choice. The former, however, outweighs the latter. At least, that’s what I would like to believe.
The frame of the power bank has an aluminum space grey finish; however, it’s made out of polycarbonate. The right side of the frame houses the power button, and the left features LED indicators.
The bottom of the power bank is where all the magic happens, though. It has three ports: USB-A, USB-C, and Lightning. While I don’t mind the port placement, what looks like a bad design choice is the color on the inside of the ports.
The USB-A port has a green finish, the USB-C port has a black finish, and the Lightning port has a white finish on the inside. I understand if it is done for better differentiation between the ports, but it doesn’t feel like a great design choice.
UtilityThe Q.Power Touch is a 10,000mAh power bank. It can fully charge your iPhone 12/13/14 Pro Max or the iPhone 14 Plus from 0 to 100 percent once and has some spare charge left. Also, you don’t have to worry about the power bank not charging the standard iPhone fully, as it can charge it twice. However, that doesn’t always work out, as other factors are at play.
Here, I will talk about my experience while testing the product. The first issue I want to highlight is the wiggle due to the camera bump. I had to place the iPhone horizontally on the power bank for it lay flat and charge. Please refer to the table above to know more about the capacity and charging speeds.
I used the iPhone 12 to check the charging speeds. I’m sure you’re aware that batteries charge at different speeds based on their percentage. Generally, the lower the percentage, the higher the speeds. With that in mind, here are the results:
The iPhone 12 took almost 1 hour and 30 minutes to merely charge from 52% to 82%. Even though it is wireless charging, these numbers and the speed is painstakingly low.
But, then again, it charged at the normal speed of 1% every two minutes up until 80%, after which Optimized Charging kicked in and delayed the process.

Finally, the question you read all this for: is the Q.Power Touch worth it for $54.99? Yes. Yes, it is. Not only can it charge your iPhone or AirPods wirelessly, but it can also charge other devices through a wired connection. You can charge one device wirelessly and two others through a wired connection.
My issues with the product are some design choices and the build quality of the frame, which doesn’t feel as premium as the product itself. Also, the product’s design is unique and looks and feels premium in hand. If you can ignore these aspects, I doubt you would regret spending on the Q.Power Touch.
Pros
Woven touch design which imitates the fabric-like in-hand feel
Multiple ports to input and output power
PD charging speeds
Cons
Build quality could be better
It would be better with MagSafe magnets

The chúng tôi Power 8 is a 5,000mAh wireless power bank. The transparent design is fresh, but the overall build is average. It is priced slightly on the higher side, but its distinctive design is worth the extra cash. On the other hand, the Q.Power Touch wireless charger is packed with 10,000mAh of battery capacity and a lighting port for power input, and a USB-C and USB-A port for both power input and power output.
